  • Blackburn Youth Zone Jubilee Street Blackburn, England, BB1 1EP United Kingdom

Make Stuff (powered by MadLab) is a pop-up day of making, crafting and coding fun for all ages. We're heading to Blackburn on the 6th of May for the National Festival of Making

You can try as many activities as you like - explore the future of fashion, watch our 3D printer create an object from scratch, make traffic lights with code and explore the world of Minecraft with programming commands and punchcards.

What will you make?

Workshops and Activities

Soldering - Hone your soldering skills with Make Stuff’s LED-tastic badge kit

Customisable Wearable Tech - Explore futuristic fashion and make your very own flashing LED tote bag to take home

Arduino Traffic Lights - Create traffic lights using an Arduino circuit board, and a little code

Coding with Minecraft - Build, create, and explore the world of Minecraft using basic programming commands and a Raspberry pi-topCEED

PatternCraft+ - PatternCraft is a nifty invention that lets you experiment with physical coding. With it, you can build creations in MineCraft, or make your own music - all using binary code and a DIY punchcard reader
